Couple of attacking midfielder types and we have a fairly good squad I'd say. Room for some loans when needed. Not gonna set the league on fire but hopefully we have enough to not worry about the trap door.

Khan has taken No.28 and Cotterill takes No.7 - maybe a hint towards Khan’s future.

Cheltenham are set to beat a number of clubs to the loan signing of Cardiff midfielder Joel Colwill. Swindon among them those believed to have submitted an offer for the highly-rated Colwill. #ctfc #swindontown

If our starting line up was this
GK Evans CB Johnson, Minturn, Freckleton WB McGregor, Uwakwe CM Cotterill, Mitchell, Cain ST Drinan, McGurk
You would quite concerned for our chances, but on the basis that those are all the likely cover players for the first XI, I don't think we are as badly off as some seem to think.
We are however missing an experienced back up keeper, some creativity in midfield & a bit of pace up front

Im reasonably sure one of those in that team won't be here this time next week. He however is likely to be replaced.

If it’s true that we are already operating on 1 in and 1 out then the noise about increased budget is once again complete nonsense
I’ve drafted up a very rough list of those we lost over the summer and who we’ve essentially replaced them with:
Brann > Evans
Kokolo > Longelo Devine > Freckleton Blake Tracey > Delaney UGM > Sobowale Clayton > Wright Brewitt > Hall Genesini > McGregor McCarthy > ?? (I cannot even bring myself to write Hart)
GMC > Ollie Clarke Aguiar > Mitchell Devoy > Cotterill Shade > ?? RHM > ?? Elbouzedi > ?? Mckirdy > ?? Austin > Smith Adeloye > ??
and yes I know some of those went out on loan in January and clubs may have paid a % of their wages
But we are 6 first team players short on the pay roll compared to the end of last season
We also received a fee for UGM. And I can’t imagine Charlie’s wages were cheap.
If anything this screams of a budget reduction. Unless we are paying some of our new signings too much money (soapy tit wank)

You forgot McEachran so that’s another for your list.

Didn't forget. I just lazily abbreviated him to gmc

I've been told by a mate who works for Will Wright's dad who says the guy is the highest earner at the club🤷♂️

That genuinley wouldn't surprise me. Although the bar for that is pretty low but still. Apparently he had offers from the league above. So perhaps for once our wage was decent. Whether he's worth it or not we'll wait and see.

It was painfully obvious our defence required work and I'd say a lot of our budget has gone there. Wright and Hall won't have come cheap and you'd think Longelo, Delaney and Sobowale won't be on peanuts.
