You'd assume the keeper might be one of the trialists - Max Harris, Max Boruc, Rohan Luthra.

Midfielder I don't think there have been any names linked recently, since Randall.

Multi-tasking, or are we getting 2? 😉

We are definitely behind on last seasons squad in terms of numbers and probably overall quality, although that is yet to be truly seen. Given that last year was our worst squad in recent memory, that is a massive worry, any thoughts of a promotion push based on what we are seeing should be put to one side.

The positive is that they seems to be looking a fixing our defensive issue from last year, but so far in doing that they have sacrificed some of our creative and attacking positives from last year.

In short, where we are today, with still some loans and signings to be done, i am more in the Cowley camp than the positive camp.  And with the recent track record of our owner, recruitment and health and conditioning team, it doesn't bode well for a particularly successful season.  Right now, midtable would be a success, which really is not good enough for everyone, bar the owner it seems.  Not gonna change until we have an owner with a "new mindset"

If we had this year's defensive half of the team with last year's offensive half, I think we'd be mustard. But we don't!

             Mahoney
     Delaney Ward Wright
Longelo                   Sobowale
          Clarke Ofoborh
                Kemp
           Young Glatzel

I would be happy with Smith for Young on that TBH its the creativity of Kemp we miss most IMO.

True, it is basically "put Kemp in any side and they instantly look 10x better" I suppose.

I think we probably all need to wait and see a few more of these players before judging.

I can get behind the back 3 likely being stronger, not sure about the wing backs yet (based on 2 preseason games), or indeed the 2 deep midfield players.

I get what you mean, but last year we started with Benn Ward, Tariq Uwakwe and Brooklyn Genesini in the LWB back position - it's not a high bar. Hutton a higher level obviously!

Really? At the same stage? I think that's arguable to be honest. Or do you mean our squad at the start of the season?
