He was definitely looking after himself at Melksham.

Not fussed either way - especially if we get a fee!

I imagine we accept any old shitty offer for players. Nominal fee for Khan will be handy, he's wanted to leave for quite some time now. Doubt very much we'll have made a profit on him. Decent business for Chesterfield.

Not sure where I stand on Khan, but if the league favourites are after him then that says something I guess. His signature turn is impressive and he creates space for himself very well, but I think his choice and execution of pass is often poor, there is no speed to his play.

I think we've expected him to go haven't we?

Hopefully this coming week, as the twitter source suggests, a few more incoming will make everything look a little clearer.

After two seasons - I have absolutely no idea what Khan is.

I can however categorically tell everyone what he isn’t - a defensive midfielder.

Pretty much this for me too.

On his day he is unplayable going forwards, he cant defend though and struggles tackling at times, he also loses his head far too quickly. But at times he is way above L2 in quality, but those games are 1 in every 4 or so.

I would keep him but apparently he wont sign a new contract anyway so may as well cash in on him now.

I think Khan is a very good player, but he is not a defensive midfielder. Would have liked to have seen him played in a more advanced role.

Weren’t Wrexham supposed to be buying him for a tidy wedge last year?

Didn’t we buy him from Chesterfield?

Yes and yes.

Tranmere also looking at him as well as Chesterfield.

He also really lacks positional discipline.
I would almost go as far as to say playing him as a DM with his lack of positional discipline was our main (of several just for the record) downfall.

Khan was potentially a player we could really showcase and make a fair bit of money on. I think he's been a bit wasted here if I'm honest.

He’s an athlete who could be coached into a role and made to look good & effect - that I don’t doubt
That role is not DM.

I think that's a bit harsh - his technical skills are pretty good individually, he just isn't very tactically aware. I bet he's the best player at the club in five aside.

Bit of a nothing player in my eyes. Showed glimpses but over the two season he’s been pretty poor.
