The transfer window hasn’t even opened yet and most players are on holiday and still under contract. I think we’ve done pretty well so far. Two through the door. That’s more than last season at this point.

The squad normally starts training in just under a month.
Everything said is right, it's early. Going to have to be a busy 5 weeks

I'd expect pre season to start in a little over 2 weeks. First preseason match is the 6th July, they are usually in training 10 to 14 days before then.
But yeah loads of time etc etc, there was just a lot of noise last week that hasn't materialised this week.hopefully nothing to worry about.

I think there's a point at which having an existing player commit can be classed as a signing.
Announcing an extension for Cain or Aguiar for example will undoubtedly not be welcomed as much as an Ofoborh.
There could have been a perception that other clubs in better positions than we are were interested in how Ofoborh stood back up to professional football again having signed for us last season. Like signing an impressive loanee permanently for me, McGurk would be similar as he could probably sign for a few other clubs.
Almost harder in many ways given noises made by FBT and CA.
