I knew one post would effectively ruin it😁

"Good luck Ollie, he did well for us when fit but unfortunately he never had a full preseason due to persistent injuries. A good leader on the pitch."

initial thoughts from reading what Mansfield fans say about him are that on paper it's a very good signing for League 2. Mansfield were happy to have him in L1 next season but geography played a part and his attributes sound great.

It still grates we don't announce contract lengths though.

He did play 39 league games last season and 37 the season before though

My Mansfield supportingstepdad said he is a decent player, gets booked a lot and is one of those players who will either play 60 minutes, or come on for the last 30

"Hard working combative midfielder. Loves a challenge, not scared to shoot and plays with his heart. Definitely gonna be missed in mansfield.

I've heard he wanted to be closer to home"

Sounds great tbh.

Just need another 4 min of this type then we can start adding the young guns around the core

Exactly what we've been missing for......well since the general left.

You’d imagine it’s minimum two years, i wouldn’t imagine he’d have left Mansfield if not.

Yeah 10 times last season. Mansfield had a strong squad last season, which I'm sure had something to do with less playing time as well as injury issues.

They haven’t forgiven us for signing Colin Calderwood all those years ago.

Fair play to the club, i was not expecting us to make a signing of this level of quality. It's been a while since the Garner season when we signed good experienced players. More of the same please!

As previously mentioned, I was told 5 players over 7 - 10 days. Obviously, this signing wasn’t done in one day, so things have been happening behind the scenes for a while. Let’s hope next week comes up with this calibre of signings.
