Who we selling tomorrow?
Minturn or McEachran. Wouldn’t lose sleep over either of them leaving.

Gunning also pretty much tried selling Khan in his interview. Suprised no one picked up on that

I did Who we signing tomorrow then?
Defensive midfielder. Who we selling tomorrow?
Khan probably. He also said that the Kinsella would only be a squad player based upon who we are about to sign, so putting 2+2 together and getting a direct replacement for Kinsella is not rocket surgery.

What did he say?
He basically referenced Wrexhams interest in Khan.

Putting aside the links with Wrexham it does feel that Khan's time at Swindon is probably up. I have to be honest I really like him, when he's on the top of his game he's a brilliant midfielder to watch. Those days have become much fewer and his body language hasn't been amazing for a while now. It's probably best we cash in for him now - let's hope the recruitment team have the wheels in motion and have a able replacement (which will probably be a loan player I would have thought)

I like Khan he just needs to up his consistancy (dont they all!) as on Saturday he was brilliant, but every player has a price and if Wrexham offer us the rumoured £300k then thats silly not to take in our position, if we can replace with another decent player. And there in lies the problem....

Wrexham tax and Swinflation would suggest that 300k is fair

I think the bigger issue with the way the club is being run, is what confidence we have that Khans deal will be extended (or that of FBT and others). I would have next to no confidence Khan is retained, so selling now for any sort of fee makes sense. The club needs to get its act in order over contract extensions. On his day he is great, but he is often very slow with a pass, or hits passes weakly, or is very blinkered. I wouldn't mind a 'lesser' player who is better at the defensive element of his position, if we were able to get more attacking threat from the other 2 in midfield. Cain and Devoy probably need improving on.

Doesn’t he only have six months left on his contract? If so, surely we wouldn’t get anywhere near 300k?
In the interview, Gunning specifically said ‘it didn’t happen, his form went off a cliff’ regarding the Wrexham interest so assume that one is dead in the water now. I think it was the performance against Wrexham in particular that cooled the interest. Doesn’t mean someone else won’t come in for him mind.

Oh I think we can all agree on that, and yes as for a replacement I would like someone who can pass and tackle and who is not so wayward on the ball would be ideal. I know many keep saying it but a younger version of Grant would be ideal, someone who does the dirty work, much like Boateng at Mansfield but he will be way out of our price range.

Just going by this Adver report from November. https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/23954597.wrexham-reportedly-interested-swindon-towns-saidou-khan/ The midfielder will have six months to run on his contract when the window opens, and Wrexham could look to tempt Swindon to part with Khan with a reported fee in the region of £350,000.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson is supposedly a big fan of Khan’s and tried to lure him to STōK Cae Ras on deadline day in the summer, but the move did not go through.
