Does an early announcement mean more to follow today or are they clearing room for Clem's video?

Also, at 6ft 4 definitely one for Gav to chuck up front as a target man when chasing the game…

…but…also further proof the footballing management team have no say in any of this. Changing manager has had no effect on this transfer

Do you mean since Flynn left or in general?

Looked on transfermarket and it suggested his appearances in the EFL Trophy have been in central midfield

Pharrell Johnson looks the part, good height plays left CB, his dad was a decent player for Birmingham and Derby at CB also. Athletic and quick and decent in the air apparently.

Ticks all the boxes.

One more for the County Ground Allotment System!

He does sound like a good player, but given our achilles heel has been our inability to defend properly, buying a 19 year old kid with almost no first team appearances is asking a lot. That said, if he's good enough he's old enough. I assume he'll replace Minturn in the defence?

Is that a Turnip for the books?

Er yeah.

Nothing on the net to really tell anything other than he hasn't got any experience.

Why is it when we do no signings all we get is negative postings yet when we do sign someone we still get negative postings ?.   Club appears to be doing all it can with ‘said’ available funds.

…because on paper a 19 year old CB with no league experience is not what we need right now?

Agreed, but what else can we do ??,   Bring a few of our own youngsters through after last night’s performance appears to be an option !!.

I dunno..it weird.

Being 15th and signing unknown and untested players usually gets calls for an open top bus parade.

yeah we are in survival mode until the end of the season. Fact as may be, you reckon after 2 shit years fans are going to be happy with the light at the end of the tunnel being turned off?

I have an idea for a good business model.....
Stay in league 2 with lower salaries compared to league 1, get in younger untried players at zero to low cost. Hope to get a good return on them.
Repeat.
