There have been offers for our players. If the club gets an offer that meets a valuation then they have a price, that has nothing to do with me, it happens above me. It is no different to what happens at any other club, if a club came in with a crazy offer for Salah then it would be tough for them to turn down.

Completely understand what Flynn's saying and I'm just being a cock here, but didn't Liverpool turn down a ridiculous offer for Salah from a Saudi club?

I mean the point is obvious, but that's a dreadful example as Liverpool turned down £200m for Salah from Saudi in the summer because they simply wouldn't sell...

I asked Flynn about outgoings, targets, and the player that was supposed to be having a medical:

The players train hard every day and they don't mean to make mistakes and it is about learning from them. I would only get rid of someone with a replacement lined up.
We are speaking to so many players. A lot of teams are not letting them out right now and lots of other things. I could go and sign ten players tomorrow, whether they are good enough or not is a different matter.
It hasn't fallen through but it has been moved back because he suffered an injury.

‘They don’t mean to make mistakes’. ‘Get rid’ Whiny fucker

Incomings is good.
Outgoings is decreasingly so as the window rolls on. No time to replace. Still , there's the free market Smiley

Isn’t his point that whether to sell or not is the owners decision, not the managers…
In his example the owners decided not to sell.

His point, as taken by Adver text context, was everyone has a price.

But the above supports your point. He wouldn't get rid unless they have a replacement, but the owner might.

What time is the cutoff for signing to be available for tomorrow?
Is it 12:00

... but can be announced whenever. Just the paperwork needs sorting before then.

Liverpool can afford to. We can't. It has always been the case, though, and is the case for almost every (probably every) club in the lower divisions.

But in the past you'd think a replacement was lined up

Or never, like when we found out about the BEST signings because they were in the team one Tuesday night!
