I’m really starting to dislike Flynn, saying stuff like this is just ridiculous.

His media skills are non existent. Red flag was when he went after the Adver chap early doors.

Morris was quite slick as you might expect. Honestly think it was a mistake binning him and torching all that dough.

Depends if you think it means "we are thinking about replacing them" or "we have given though about replacing them and trying to enact that".

It sounds like the former, but context is (and has in the past) been very difficult to pick up from the live blog.

We all saw this BS window a mile off, same excuses as the summer.

14 fit pros- an absolute embarrassment and failure.

the same official account that accidently retweeted a FGR/Sky Sports tweet earlier. zero common sense from the majority of people at this club.

I saw that and wondered if I had dreamt it. Glad I'm not going totally cuckoo!

‘Had a striker lined up but he started scoring and is off to L1.’

The stupidity of Flynns comments do begin to grate a little. How lined up can it have been?

If it was lined up at the end of December, then how many goals can the guy have scored in a week to get a different move?

So it was lined up much earlier than that, in which case why can't deals be agreed at that point to be actioned 1st Jan?

It just begins to sound like rubbish honestly.

He probably meant “had a striker lined up that I liked but made no contact with because we have no money and I’m gobsmacked that when I went to approach him yesterday, other clubs had been proactive and set up a deal 2 months ago”

It was probably Danny Johnson. His 95th minute goal in Walsall's 6-1 away win at Grimsby must have turned some heads up the leagues.

Why on earth don’t we recall Adeloye and Aguiar and if things pan out with new signings during the month send them back out again later. Got to be better than what we’ve got on the bench.

It’s actually self destructive. Worthing would obviously take Aguiar back. I guess with Adeloye, if he plays for us he can’t play for anyone else other than Partick who may not want him back but at this rate it has to be worth the risk.

I wonder if the one in a medical is a GK…? Even our piss pot regime must be able to find one of them. The easiest position to replace in football.

You'd think so, although would you want to loan someone out to sit on the bench?

Otherwise we need someone who is going to be first choice

We knew this was coming. I wanted to be proven wrong but I haven’t. 14 fit players is an absolute joke and offensive to the 9,000 paying fans we get every week. This is worse than Power era

14 fit players a week into a transfer window is a disgrace, pure and simple.

Town End would open early 2000s on a tuesday night in front of 4,500 sometimes. Long way to go till that.

That is our biggest weakness and why we get ripped off so much. Even if we protest and have have thousands turn in their season tickets our gate is higher than a lot of clubs in the league and that is what makes us a target.
