Has Flynn done his usual disasterclass in expectation management?
"I believe we have almost got one over the line and I am hoping for two or three more by Saturday."
You've got to think we'd be hearing about at least one of these by now...

Its Wednesday. The game is Saturday. They can announce it at 2pm Saturday for all I care, as long as we get one.

To be registered to play is it midday on Friday or something?

Joke or not, I wouldn't mind Wakeling to be honest. As long as he's not the only one!

Something like that. But I'd imagine they may keep it quiet to keep the oppo guessing. Maybe?!

I’d rather Wakeling than an unproven prem 18 year old. Gladwin would be hilarious

Not sure Wakeling if Flynn's type of player up front - he had him benched beginning of the season when he was with us

There is always the chance that any replacements now would be of the temporary/cheap variety to prevent lumbering any new owner with players on contracts.

Why do our fans always seem to want ex players back. Move on people. There have to be better players out there.
Has anyone said they do?

I think Wakeling is a bit light weight for what we need - he’d be a good squad player but not a regular so I’m pretty sure he won’t be coming back.

In Wakelings defence. At the begining of the season wakeling only had 6 less league goals but twice as many assists as young in their career to date. I still think given a proper role and not some batshit crazy coaching there could be a decent player there

Best he doesn’t come back here then.

I'd imagine the only ex-player fans would be clamouring for would be Dan Kemp. Gladwin would be silly but I could see the allure in Wakeling, even just to improve our options off the bench which is currently next to non-existent.
