Squad player? He would slot staight in as first choice LWB, surely
Probably, but he would certainly need game time to claim the slot if he did, which I cant see, apparently Bradford have made a bid for him to go there on loan.

I'm not sure we need a LWB and there are better uses of a loan. Not worth paying for with his record either sadly.

Edwards and a mystery player would be a perfect way to end the window.

Lets consider the back-up eleven

Gk. Ward
RWB. Genesini
LWB. Devine?
CB. Ward
CB. Minturn
CB. Clayton/Brewitt
CM. Cain
CM. Kinsella
ACM. ?
SC. Young/RHM
SC. Wakeling

The gaps are clearly cover or competition for Kemp, and a LWB assuming Devine never really properly recovers.

I think to strengthen the starting team a CB still feels the biggest gain to me.

So if we can get 2 i think agree with the majority and its a CB plus a midfielder i think?

Edit. forgot Shade, does he cover Kemp (seemed to as a sub against Crawley).

I’d still take him here. I don’t think he’s been too injury prone other than here, first season I can’t remember what the issue was but last season he was signed injured, rushed back and given too much of a load too early and was on a hiding to nothing.

When properly fit, he’s looked good

I believe this has been discussed before. He was always injured with us but no other club.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

You arent wrong.

Currently in Smug Mode.

Tomlinson as a LWB would be a fantastic addition in this team. I don't think he's on the radar though is he.

Not that he’d fit in our system but Fankaty Dabo is still a free agent.
He’s been doing well for Coventry the last few seasons as far as I can tell.

No clubs have taken a punt on current Premier League golden glove winner David de Gea either…

Only goal of his career remains for us against Oxford....
