You can only ask the question. We got Milner by asking out of hope rather than expectation, although Kingy and Peter Reid were besties.

With MK supposedly still paying for Twine you've got to think that there is a Kemp deal to be done there that doesn't cost us any extra cash investment... We need to get it done before the vultures start circling!

I’ve said before if we can do a deal for Kemp that free’s up a loan. Wishful thinking and in some ways Kemp could be using us to get a better deal in L1 by the end of the season.

I don't know the bloke from Adam but sense he is looking for a home. Seems very positive. How many players would go to a then doomed looking Hartlepool at the tail end of last season? Good attitude.

I have seen a few people mention about a return for Lucas Jukebox - not getting much game time at Brum, although he is getting on a bit not sure if he could still do a job at this level

His goals per minutes ratio this season is very good. He's only getting on average 10 minutes as a late sub but has 2 goals and an assist so far and is averaging a goal every 16 minutes! Unless Birmingham bring in a number of strikers, he seems to be lethal as their option off the bench.

He seems to be having a pretty good start to the season, he has rarely been a prolific scorer for anyone but 2 goals in 4 games is bloody good (especially if he isn't starting) by his standards. I don't think he is any older that Carroll or in fact Austin is he. I think just another to be notched up to 'only being linked as he played here once'.

I wouldnt want another main striker. We have 4 that are going to score goals for us in my opinion but maybe another youngish one to compliment them if need be. I would still be more keen on getting defender(s) and a different type of midfielder just so we can switch formations at times

Striker not really a priority at the moment. Much more interested in us bringing in a decent centre mid who can provide some back up for Khan/Kemp. Payne would fit the bill nicely but he's a midget and we've got 700 of those already.

I'm not even sure why Lucas name has been mentioned as not aware he's unhappy at Birmingham plus there would be many clubs ahead of us if he did become available.

I’d take Jutkiewicz in January if it was a given Jake Young wasn’t staying or coming back.
Fast difference in age but similairish type of players

Andy Carroll loose speculation can stop soon, he’s on his way to sign for Amiens in the French 2nd division

I doubt there was ever any real interest from us in signing Carroll anyway just fan talk.
Also the same with Jutkiewicz who has played every game for Brum so far this season and was sent off last night in their LC game with Cardiff.
I know its rumours and all that but at least make them believable not pie in the sky made up ones.
