He did say something had fallen through so he’s had to go to plan B… maybe this was it?

Thought this was going to be announced Friday.
Assumed something went wrong. Still all positive.
Await a number 9 and we are done. Still unsure about the keeper decision.

Curious as to why this took so long considering he’s been here a while.

Think Cowley might know

I guess a jobs a job but if I’d been on trial for a good while, got overlooked for someone else then got offered something as back up once that had fallen through - I wouldn’t exactly be keen to sign myself up…

All assumptions of course…and he might not have even known that was the case anyway

I mean in fairness it could be as simple as contract negotiations took an extra few days as the club & player weren’t quite on the same page.

I have a friend who is a Poole Town fan and he said he was very skilful and a good player. Rated him.

Genesis is a perm then? Well one for the future as well as one for now with a huge sell on clause no doubt.

Pretty sure he was a free agent.

Still need a CB to get Brewitt out of the team.

I can't see that happening now with FBT, Clayton, Brewitt, Minturn, Ward and UGM all signs up for the season.

By all accounts he was decent against Plymouth.

Funny how some people rate Minturn and loathe Brewitt, when the latter seems to my eyes to be a much better player and a rare leader on the pitch.

One aspect of lower league football that seems to have sadly passed on is the era of the utterly random foreign import.

Assume Brexit has done for it but I miss the rarely fulfilled promise of continental flair that they brought to the squad!

Yeah, I’d put Brewitt there as 4th choice once everyone is fit & healthy.

Still don’t get the Brewitt hate. Not claiming he’s Colin Calderwood but he’s not Jonathan Grounds either.

Plus a pre-season, a decent manager and being in a back 3 should see some improvement in theory.

…but…I suppose there has to be one player a section of the fanbase vehemently hate

Don’t get the Minturn hate either. Think he’s shown promise. Absolutely no harm in having him the first team squad as an option.

A season long loan in the conference playing every week would be ideal for him but it seems for whatever reason we can very rarely get our younger players loans just the one division down.
