Yes, sorry, I meant who actually was in that "Leeds" team. Liam Cooper et al or the U-12s, and it looks like the latter.

It's the PL2 team that played in the Pizza trophy. So U21 now but was probably U23 back then. Having said that they reduced the age down from 23 last year because pretty much everyone playing in PL2 was under 21. I think that Leeds team was younger than most with a lot of 16 and 17 yr old in it.

Doesn’t seem to be any live coverage of the presser by Total Sport.
Strange.

Nope, sorry PV EFL rules on player registration 43.8 Subject to Regulations 43.2, 43.3 and 57, a Player will only be eligible to play in a match organised by The League if the appropriate forms for his registration or the transfer of his registration (including, for the avoidance of doubt, Temporary Loan Transfers) are: 43.8.1 submitted (in such manner as the League shall specify from time to time) to and received by The League by 12.00 noon on the day prior to the date of such match; and 43.8.2 confirmed by the League to be in order.

Cheers R4E I couldn't remember if it was 12 or 5 for signings, isnt it 5pm for loan signings then on the prior day of the match? for whatever reason I had a 5pm deadline in my head from years gone by. I was trying to remember back under Wellens when we signed Dion Donahue and we only found out he had signed on the day of his debut.

Loans are the same - midday.

Michael Flynn on new signings:
Young was quite simple. I have a good relationship with Bradford and he is a player I have always liked. He scored a great goal against me last season. He is a very good finisher and he wants to prove himself, he could have stayed at Bradford but he showed desire to be here.
UGM is a player I have always admired and I spoke to him after Newport beat FGR in the play-offs and he remembered that. He was in an awkward position at FGR as they priced him high with the Bosman and then I found out Lavinier was sniffing for a move, so it was a no brainer. That took longer than we hoped. Laviner was not someone I was actively trying to get rid of and I wish him nothing but success.
Everything about UGM is top. He is strong, quick, aggressive and drives out from the back. Fantastic age and he wanted to be here and the players we are signing have to have that. No exceptions from Austin downwards, who has been outstanding with everything we asked. I have enjoyed this pre-season.

I mean, he is talking a bit of bollocks on the Young one - he hasn't actually left Bradford, he is on loan (so no risk on wages for the lad) and Bradford told him he was, to paraphrase "not going to be playing, so please fuck off".
The description of UGM is positive and certainly sounds like he has him ear marked for central defensive duties only - not being a swiss army knife.
