Apparently linked defender Ryan Edwards could be looking at a move to the Indian Super League.

There’s a fuckingvworld of difference between £3k per week and 3k Indian Rupees per week.

                     Murphy-Mahoney
             New CB     New CB    FBT
Hutton                                          New LWB
               New DMC    McEachran
                          Kemp
                    Austin    RHM
Subs:
New GK
Clayton (Injured)
Brewitt/Minturn
Lavinier (Injured?)
Khan
Cain
Wakeling

Then see if we can shift out some of Darcy, Shade and Adeloye if needed to make room for another striker and creative midfielder/wide player.

On paper I’d be okay with that, if only reality worked as simply as on paper though.

I see it almost exactly the same, but i think another forward is a must. Wakeling has been very poor in preseason, and i'm not convinced Austin plays enough games across the season to not need someone to partner RHM or Wakeling.

4 short of a starting eleven. 3 if we accept khan short term, 2 if we accept brewitt as well. So a CB and a LWB are a must before the season starts. With the others to follow quickly afterwards.

Genuinely true. Accept that he is going to be siphoning off a few brown paper bags but know that he hasn't got the keys to the building.

Appreciate it was time for him to move on but you look at our squad and wonder why we didn't keep Iandolo... and I never thought I'd say that!

Flynn has said he wants a squad of around 24 players so I think that gives us an idea of how many more are needed - but that probably depends on who leaves as well and if he is including any of the youngsters as part of the the squad

So today we have 19 at the club and not out on loan (http://thetownend.com/index.php?topic=59328.0)

But that 19 includes Brann, Minturn and Adeloye - of those I'd probably expect the first two to be part of the 24 (but very much as 23 and 24) and Adeloye seemingly is heading out. Plus Devine is a long term injury, that may not be counted.

So we're at 16 to 18 depending on how you want to think about it, expecting to add another 6-8 to reach Flynn's target, with three loan slots left.

Either way, plenty to do.

Was that the condition for his recruitment. The old guy was clearly anti drone and was moved on!

Sorry to add another moan.  I do wish people would stop using the Garner season to show why late recruitment can work.  It didn't - we did NOT get promoted, which surely is the minimum acceptable target for a season in League Two?  Everyone accepts the context of that season means people are OK with the result, but it was still not a team built to go up.
