I can understand it with how crazy the league is this season, but last year and the year before that we’ve been drilled with the “building year” spiel. Can’t see fans being happy being fed that again

We've never been drilled with that. That's my opinion on where we are.

A loan signing from a club in our division is not what i was looking for honestly. Perm fine, but loan no.
You do suprise me.  Year contract or year loan does it really matter? We have seen this summer the pitfalls of being lumberered with shit

I cant understand the difficulties with STFC.

Have a 9k home attendance base... Sponsorship deals far more than in previous years.

Still can't show any feel good PR.

Clem Morfuni was singing and dancing with all the bells and whistles when he wanted to sell his story.

Since he has got what he wants (purchased the club and 50% of the ground) he seems to have been very quiet.

Horrible thing is.... he has basically got control over the CG as well. If his football club default on any rent / lease payments how are the Supporters club going to fund the on going payments.

50% JV's are great whilst all parties are on the same page. However things change and normally it ends with disappointment and tears.

Just hope the lawyers have got some excellent clauses that will eliminate my concerns moving forward.

What is actually going so badly wrong you now want good lawyers involved? Our manager said this morning he has a good budget and he will use it

It doesn't, if it lasts a year. But if he does well he gets recalled in Jan and then its just a mess. Not to mention he cant play against them this season as well.

Someone else has mentioned Otis Khan to me today, maybe the rumour from here getting passed back around not sure.

The atmosphere around the fanbase has drilled it in. First season was understandble, we were all on the same page. Second season, as soon as we slipped out of realistic promotion contention, the atmosphere moved to “building for a push next season”.

At least to the majority of people that I spoke to.

We had huge debts and operate at a loss. Factor that in and things make a lot more sense. Or throw in conspiracy theories about where money is going. I enjoy the latter more tbh
HA me too. It's fucking madness at times, like others have said there are legitimate concerns but the over the top drama is a joke at times

That can happen in any division apart from the playing against them bit. If he had been released the same people would be saying he can't be that good if he has been released

The only negatives I can see are 1) can be recalled in January, 2) probably won't play v MKD.

if he's better than we have then great. Don't know much about him tbh but if he's better than what we have it's good. Not the type of player I was expecting mind.

like you get say, if he's crap it can be better than a 2 year perm. could be loan to buy anyway.

we won't need all of Aguiar, Darcy and Cain will we? unless he plays wing

Given the make up of Flynns team, with a 3 man midfield with 2 sitting and 1 supporting the striker. We defo needed that attacking midfield player, someone with a goal threat that can create goals. Not sure Cain has that at the moment. So Yeah this is the sort of player i expected honestly.

I would normally agree with you on that but I look back to Doyle loaned in by us and Twine loaned out by us to teams in the same division.

Also the lad Kemp looks to be a decent player, look at 2 goals in this game, he gets both of Pools goals.

MK feelings about it.

Rumours of Kemp off to Swindon courtesy of the Lower League Look on Twitter.

I wouldn't be surprised by moving him on especially if we can make a profit. Winky told me Alexander does not play no.10's and has no plans to change that. Whilst I could see Kemp in that inside forward/wide no.10 role we used under Manning I can't see him as a winger in a 433 or as a CM, so maybe move him on if there is money on the table?

No money, its a season long loan deal.
Makes sense really. The opinion seemed 50/50 if we kept him anyway, so now that you've mentioned Alexander doesn't play at 10, no reason to keep him.

I don't think a season long loan makes sense at all. I assume he signed a 2.5 year deal on arrival? Maybe with an option. He's come off the back of the best football in his career 9 goals in 16 games. This is where you cash in on that form, even if it is for a nominal fee. A loan makes very little sense to me - helping a team in your league with likely no end reward?

DMC... my posting was incorrectly place here and should have been relating to the purchase of the County ground.

That said, it does seem to be ironic that we are unable to have any "feel good" news.

As for Michael Flynn towing the party line. Surely he needs to get success in the transfer market.

Compared with 12 months ago where there was Baudry, McDonald, Conroy, Boro's GK (loan) all signed up. We are currently sadly lacking on experience and quality.

Yes, I am aware Baudry's seasons ending injury and an unfortunate off the field reason for McDonald leaving.

Doyle is the great example. But it took us signing him perm in Jan for that season not to fall apart (that happened in the summer)

It can work for sure, but just isn't the type of one that feels good to me.

Worked out ok with Doyle.

Kemp is a funny one at Franchise. Signed from Orient but played 5 times in 21/22 and 5 times in 22/23 at league one level. Then had a very good loan spell with Hartlepool last season where he scored 9 in 16.

I guess he's in his last year of his contract? Perhaps he feels his time there is up and wants a new start? Edit - just read PV's notes from Franchise fans and that suggests he wouldn't be in Alexander's plans. I think potentially he could be a terrific number 10 for us.

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise,
