Cowley didn’t get shit for posting transfers rumours though, did he?

It was when he went from giving us a players name every other day, and saying there were 4 coming in etc, to we won’t be signing anyone other than loans.

Telling us we are skint, and can only afford loans isn’t a transfer rumour.

I am inclined to agree, rumours are purely that, rumours, they are almost always shit but sometimes right. But when people ask for rumours and then rumours are posted, however shit or untrue they get argued with or the rumours poo pooed.

I hope Mr Cowley continues TBH it brightens my day reading proper transfer rumours and not chat about shirts etc in the transfers thread.

There had my say and I will move on from it.

Unfortunately many on here think transfer dealings are like Football Manager 2023....

Its all quick and easy.....

Unfortunately in the real world things look set and agreed

And then things change.

That is what happened to the signings for us..

1 happened the goalkeeper

The others looked set but things changed......

I'm glad the influx of signings have put that to bed then.

ok maybe that could go in a different thread from transfer rumours and debated there

As an aside, why haven't we signed Ward. is his parting from Sutton still causing an issue?

Because we are skint and only making loan signings.

that's actually possible through isn't it. At least skint enough not to get an experienced keeper in as a priority

as is contractual difficulties a possibility.

But it's not like "trial" really applies to ward

Flynn said last week Ward is trying to earn a contract. They have been back a week so probably does want to have a look at him. He isn't that experienced either in all honesty as i thought he was

Mildy has worked with ward for a season, how much of a look do you need

(I probably wouldn't sign him, at least not as a priority)

We either want the manager making his own signings or we don't.
