As it's quiet, a quick digression on transfer deadline day memories.
Used to be a time for the roving Sky reporters to deliver updates surrounded by an unruly mass of spotty oiks.
They've cottoned on & avoided that in recent years.
My not so favourite memory is of refreshing the phone at 1am in the morning in Jan 2013 awaiting news of Pack, Green & BW-P signing, until the club eventually put out a statement.
Then the realisation that all was not well in STFC world.

It says a lot about Welsh football that a player who went to the World Cup with them is barely worth £100k, albeit there is the contract position to consider.
TBH a bit of a kick in the knackers for Williams if they only think he is worth that much!
