You'd think Hibs would be a little wary of buying players doing well for us in League Two after the last one they bought.

Yeah, after McKirdy no chance they are coming back to raid a play off chasing L2 team

A thought or two ahead of the likely departure of Iandolo.

An average player, had good days & bad.
Unlucky with the timing of injuries maybe & missing pre season has shown this time around.

Maybe not the footballing devil incarnate given the way some have banged on about him at times.
There have been plenty worse to have worn the shirt.

A decent servant of the club.
Possibly the time is right to move on & try to progress elsewhere.
If only he could have produced "that pass" more regularly.

Main thing when any player leaves, as always, is for the replacements to improve the team / squad.

Contract up. Negotiations begin. Wants decent money. Wants to stay. Agent puts feelers out. Gets another club ‘interested’. Bargaining position improves.

What if it’s a swap for Harry?
No thanks. That ship has sailed.

Right then, 13 hours to go, what do we expect?

Outs: MacDonald, Iandolo, Adeloye seem likely. Anyone else would be a bit of a shock, bar maybe a Roberts loan. Disaster territory is an FBT or Brynn recall, or Williams going.

Ins: Tottenham kid seems likely. Might need two replacements for Iandolo because of his versatility, a left back and a central midfielder. Maybe a left winger too?

Hold on to your hats.

In the same interview he said location is also really important

I suspect that this is pretty important for Jonny. His last 3 clubs have all been fairly local to him - Charlton, Cardiff, Swindon and I suspect he's settled in the area and would have thought a move to Scotland wouldn't appeal reading between the lines. Williams isn't going to be on small money here and demands for an international player are still likely to be high. A lot is made about the lack of experience in the side and in Williams, we probably have the most experienced player in the league given he's just come back from a World Cup, and made nigh on 300 appearances pretty much in all 4 divisions.

I suspect that one of Jody Morris' first jobs (if that's what he does) is to give the green light for a new contract to Jonny. He's been vocal about being open to a new contract and now an article in a national (Scotland granted) newspaper has stated he is wanted by another club. Now is the perfect time to show intent and give him what he wants.

Based on his 45 minutes alone Saturday i would say not. Absolute horrific, as as bad as any performance i can remember
