That would set off a few red flags if it is the case. We have been working on a central striker the entire past two months if our own Management team is to be believed. Nearly every fan is in agreement we lack that player and we certainly haven't even replaced the one we lost last season yet, at a time when we said we were a further one short. That means we should still be working on one (assuming Hepburn to be a longer term punt), even if McKirdy had never made the trip North. |
