Everybody seems to have money except us.

Despite us having the 2nd? biggest gates in the division.
Like who? See a few people saying this but not sure where that comes from. We have paid a few fees, paid for Clayton and likely to pay for the Spurs lad. Granted a few of the signings have not worked out yet but that doesn't mean we have not paid for them

Would rather get Jephcott than Saydee. If it came down to 1 or the other.
Same, proven record at this level, would be quite a signing if it comes off.

Touted by Muff manager Ryan Lowe as a £3.5m player when Derby, Stoke and Cardiff wanted him under 2 years ago.

Jephcot would be fine, but we’d still need a.n. Other first-team ready striker as well. We do/did even with mckirdy

From the Adver blog thingy

That's all from this quick pre-match press conference. Back to transfer business.

And it's about to get going for real!

Jephcott has plenty of options seemingly. I just hope that there aren't clubs in league 1 providing opposition to his signature or we could be up against trying to get him. Apparently Elliot Benyon is on hold on the other line.

It must be the first transfer window for a few years where Nicky Ajose hasn't been mentioned😀

My adver blog appears to be stuck since 10:42 when adver comment contributer 'Custodian' stated he wouldn't miss Lewis Ward. Anything interesting been happening since then Horlock?

I wonder if offering guaranteed minutes will swing it (assuming loan). I hate the concept, but if it gets the man...

No transfer updates but Lindsey mentioned that he enjoyed the Palace game and is confident we're moving in the right direction. Also mentions Gillingham mean a lot to him as his dad played for them and that's where he spent 9 months in his first coaching role.

Plymouth fans reckon he’s available for £250,000 on a perm. Loan would probably be Orient.

If we reinvest the Harry money it would be well spent on Jephcott - and calm down the twitter twatterati

Sandro did say pre-season we would entertain investing up front as that's where the profit is to be made. Jephcott should be a 20ish goal man and young enough to sell on for more.
