Scott Kashket, contract mutually terminated by Wycombe to enable him to find another club before the deadline,

Just been followed by Jack Payne!

And Baudry.

Seems a Garner type. Described as ‘not very robust’. Not suited to Wycombe’s ‘style’ - whatever that is.

He’ll do!

And Baudry.
He was at Orient with Frenchy for a couple of years.

If we did sign him he looks very quick and has a great left foot.

I dont mind Baudry and wouldn't write him off.

However i completely agree that 2 bodies are needed, a left sided player, preferably one that can play wing back/or wide midfield. If its a back 4 then Hunt is fine at LB, or even Crichlow if others fill in at CB. And we defo need another striker. With 2 loan slots open i will be appalled if they are not used.

Ability wise I'm fine with him at this level. It's more to do with the fact he's always injured.

Very highly rated by Wycombe fans who almost to a man say hes a good player but it just didn't work out for him there.

Quote
Fabulous player, always gave everything he had.

Really sad news. Felt he still had so much to offer but if it's best for both parties, so be it.
Can only say, thanks for some superb memories and moments, Scotty and best of luck in the future.
A player like him won't stay unemployed for long, hopefully.

Really surprised to see this. He obviously has the talent to play a role this season and he showed that in the league above. Can’t understand, based on the info we have, why we would let him go.

Sad to see him go. Will always remember that period when he couldn't stop scoring.

We have all debated for time to time whether he should be in or out. One thing I can say is he did give it everything when he did get to play. Was capable of some patches of real brilliance but probably lacked consistency and was somewhat hampered by injuries.

Good luck and thanks for the goals, he needs regular games and will score goals. He did his fair share of running and chasing too but he needs to be on the last defender giving them hell.

Some league 1 or 2 side are gonna get a cracking striker. Play him close to a target man, and he create and convert chances.

You'd think they'd be no shortage of interest in him. Whilst it looks like we've done the right thing by the player, it's a shame we couldn't get a fee for him. I do accept though that there's not many League 1/2 sides that could afford to pay a fee.

Kashket certainly looks a bit tasty on the ball but (there is always a bit) he wears gloves?

Can we trust an outfield player who wears gloves?

Bobby Barnes was known to wear gloves and also I do remember Chris Kamara wearing them in some games too....

Interestingly in a lot of these clips, a certain Adebayo Akinfenwa is partnered up top with him.

Perhaps one of those strikers, quite similar to Ajose, who needs somebody up there with him to be effective.

Surely the existence of Sofiane Zaaboub answers this question...

Would be great alongside Tyreece. Surely thee must be clubs in league 1 after his signature?

There probably is, the same way there were most likely league 1 clubs after the signatures of Ben Gladwin and Jonny Williams among others.
