The Gas Heads seem to think we’re holding out for a fee for Pitman. Don’t know why/how his situation is any different to Grounds whose contract we were more than happy to terminate.
They also think a tiny fee would help fund our tiny squad. Bless!

I'm still a bit reluctant to see him go, although his recent attitude has dampened that somewhat.
He's slow, very slow, but he scores goals regardless and I reckon he could get 20+ in a L2 team that plays to his strengths. He got 11 last season in L1 in a team that didn't play to anybody's strengths.

Pitman can fuck off now for all I care.
I understood him not wanting to when he wasn’t paid, but he has been now and still hasn’t returned, it shows his attitude and respect for the club. So he’s not someone I want anywhere near the side.
The bloke looks unfit anyway so god knows what he’s like now after not training for 3 months.

There is no chance we'd play to his strengths this season either, not based on what Garner has described so far. I don't see us being able to carry a player who would just plonk themselves upfront. |
