Really hope we can do it a bit quicker than a couple of days although I know it'll take as long as it takes.  P'Boro will be a very tough friendly and even a few new faces on show would be a lift to the crowd if we can get anybody else through the door in time.  Having to end the game made up entirely of trialists again would be a bit sad.

Again, I know the club are doing things as fast as they can and I'm not laying any blame at their door or at the EFL's even, I'd just love to see it done in time to give those who can't get to Scunthorpe a glimpse of things to come.

Edit - I wrote that under the impression it was Thursday today, which of course it isn't. Doh  A couple of days could easily be enough time to get a few in in time.

Indeed it was interesting to read Gladwin reference the heat in preseason, which suggests he has been training with them for some time, given last week was rather wet.

Last week was very hot here in Swindon, until Friday anyway.

An Exeter fans on another forum seems to think Ajose is training with us....
And they think Pitman is joining them.

Can the £1m EFL loan be paid back in stages, via some sort of repayment plan? Or is it required in a lump sum?
I think like most things in life there will be some level of flexibility with payment plans, but i suspect clem will want to get rid of the debt ASAP

Clem is a man after my own heart, I hate to have debt hanging around! That's good there will be some flexibility but as you say getting the debt paid off ASAP will really give the place a lift.

TBH they can have him, he will go well in the new Exeter Dads Army Team alongside Grounds.

I wonder if Clem has put a stop on the £14,000 per month payout to the crook?

This will piss off the people that seem to be riled by the ITK crowd but I am led to believe we should see another signing today. No idea who so let the rumour mill run wild.

My money would also be on McKirdy who looks a decent signing.
