haven't we got until 12 tomorrow?

or has he said so in a press conference?
He has just finished the PMT I think they are called now Smiley I didn't listen but yes we have until 5pm the day prior to a match I think.

He must have said something in the PMT'er.

Sheridan on loan players:

We have six loan players and you can only include five on a matchday so it does give me a headache. We may have to clear one out.

Sheridan on striker signing:

We won't have a striker in before the weekend. We were due to have a new striker sign for us last night but that has been delayed due to an injury at his parent club. We are still hopeful of the deal happening but we have to respect the decision of the parent club.

So no mention of more than 5 being allowed in the matchday squad contrary to what Nixon posted? interesting.

I expect Tyler will go back if he trims the loans down.

Tenner says the striker we were going to sign last night was Amadou Bakayoko from Coventry. I've seen the name mooted on this thread somewhere too...

In the article, it mentions they wanted to move him out to balance the books and the timing fits with the parent club pulling the plug vs article publishing time/ date...

Possibly, Charlton, Rovers, Fleetwood, Crewe, Sunderland and 2 other unnamed L1 clubs were after him on loan.

To which several Coventry fans commented

I’ll come with ya sparks we can share petrol

Hope he goes to Sunderland a flop in goal and one up front. Hahaha

Striker was set to be a loan so that would make 7 loans then - crazy that it hasn't been addressed already, I bet players wont be happy if they find they are unlucky number 6 or 7 and not included at all, and surely doing that doesn't keep us in good standing with the loaning club, they send their players here to get game time.

Or before perhaps. :-(

Possibly, unfortunately. I'd rather use him like Matt Taylor. A good player to have in the dressing room.

Just him? On his own?

I’d fancy us to win that.

We should go in for Chuks Aneke. He’d be perfect for us

I have been saying this for man years, he is a great target man at this level, well outside of our price range though, would cost a fee and large wages.

Sad that I'd take any one of their 5 strikers.
