Grounds and Curran - enough said.
A year ago, even when Baudry and Fryers looked like Baresi and Costacurta in L2, it was clear we needed an upgrade, more defensive minded centre half. How we've ended up with the selection above is deeply depressing. |

If he can defend, happy days. With Conroy, Travers, Thompson, Freeman and now supposedly Masterson surely signed to start, that's a completely different backline to what we started with Franchise. Credit to Jewell and Power for making the moves to give it a shot at turning things around!

Surely this is the end for one of the Smith’s, what with us still needing a forward in, who will also likely be a loan.
I can’t imagine City or Sheffield Utd being happy if Jonny or Tyler aren’t even making the squad.

I've heard a choice of Connor Masterson (QPR) or Lewis Hobbs (Palace).
Both are interested in Twine. Imagine the Palace one would include loaning him back to a club (Newport?!). Maybe Palace think they can develop on his overall strength. Guess they would have the set up to do so.
We'll see.
