Iandolo was more for development, as he is never going to get a run of games here this season. He is 24 this year, so needs to kick on unless he is happy with having a career as a bench warmer.

I agree, but that a whole other debate. I merely meant I can't see anyone taking them on right now due to the injury risk. I disagree Broadbent is on the out list, but that's just opinion.

If he was fit, he'd be competing at LB and if we're going with wingbacks, he's the best one at the club. He signed a new deal in the summer too.

Wasn't Iandolo expected to be more than a bench warmer this season until the injuries? Think Wellens was going to utilise him far more frequently.

Iandolo unfortunately seems to be held back by injuries. He just doesn't seem to get a large run of uninterrupted games in a specific position to be able to show what he can do.

He has - as long as he's played forward and not as an out and out LB.

Haha, thanks for the Father Ted reminder For some reason that made me think of a Power interview with BBC Wiltshire - "Listen Shaun, that Luongo money was just resting in my account"

Hiwula has signed a contract extension at Pompey. We could still loan him I guess.

He really doesn't excite me anyway - doesn't sound any better than we already have. Although admittedly I know next to nothing about him other than his wiki stats (which are quite poor).

So were Doyles before he signed though, Hiwula actually having a higher goals per game ratio than when Doyle signed for Swindon. Some players fit clubs and styles and visa versa. I would rather we try and sign a striker with some experience than another youngster, although if we did sign another untried and untested striker it would be as a 6th loan and therefore only a bit part player. Any experienced addition to the forward line will have to be a freebie and then only if we offload Grant/Hope/AN other to free wages. I stilll fully expect a bid from Salford for at least 1 or more of A Grant, Hunt, Baudry, Fryers or Caddis.

No chance anyone offers actual money for Baudry or Caddis, or even Grant. Old, OOC in the summer....

That's really not relevant to what I said, JJ I've not said he won't score a lot of goals here if he does sign or anything else that contradicts anything you said in your reply. I'm not one of 'them'. I said he doesn't excite me and, from what little information I have, he really doesn't. He will continue to not excite me until I see something that changes my mind.
