I see the Kyle Bennett rumour has raised its head again.

That ship has sailed!
Depends though, the fringe players to come in are not great at the moment. Be a good squad player

He would if his wage demands are low enough and his playing expectations are not high.

Keep the pressure on the 1st team and he would have to play well when he came on to try and claim a place in the starting line up.

Although a striker would be a priority if it was down to just being able to afford just 1 more signing.

One of those shitty EFL Hub twitter accounts:

Franchise, AFC Wimbledon, Mansfield Town, Charlton Athletic & Bristol Rovers are keen on former Swindon Town striker Kaiyne Woolery.

Isgrove played a major role in Town’s success last season. If he didn’t have fitness issues he’d never have signed. I wish him all the best.

That's not good and should have been resolved a few weeks ago

Not bad-mouthed but enough childish comments and also silly stuff coming from his missus. Danny Rose was also offered reduced terms and the difference in the way they both seem to have behaved are worlds apart. That said he was a good player for a short while and helped us go up so I wish him well in that respect just found the whole situation lately a bit shit

Still got a year on his contract. Described as 'lazy' on one article I read and one of 3 'decent' strikers that Southend have. Waxed lyrically about quick attacking football that Moseley wants to play. Came back from 15 broken bones in his face followed by a broken nose. Lost about a stone during lockdown as he felt heavy.

Young and not too bad a scroing record at Southend.

But:

Still got a year on his contract.

I know 'never say never' - righly so. Various reports have his valuation at 500K. OK they are non-reputable - but surely and completely understandably the meagre funds we do have will have to go on the players wages - not the other clubs.

Unless we've found a pot of gold none of us know about...

Is he a striker?

If he is, a couple of 'OK' seasons don't say 500k to me*

*With the usual caveat that I've not seen him play.
