It would have been an end of season fee that reduced based on how often we used him, so even assuming he would have been playing pretty much every game, have to think that was a hefty fee.
We want an experienced back-up to the loanee being the Number 1.
Also, Chelsea would have insisted on him being played. That’s why Wellens only wanted one loan gk. |

Very speculative, but Logan would have spent time with Wellens at Leicester. There was an Athletic article about “life as a reserve keeper” recently which focused on him.
