Jonny Smith seems to be exactly what Wellens has said he likes in the wide positions in the front 3. Can play either side, and scores goals as well as creates them. A loan here also means a year of staying in the same place (i.e. not moving from Bristol again), which must work in our favour. I can see Holden wanting to use him though, so who knows. Maybe his Dad can join this forum too and let us know....

Nothing concrete has been spoken about, obviously would have loved to have him come on today, and I followed Gregor on twitter right through the game. Several clubs have enquired I hear after a great season last year but that would be expected. If I hear anymore I will post here..

What a found was a message from a Swindon fan saying something along the lines of ‘there is rumours of us singing him’. The message was a week ago.
His old man then quoted the message yesterday out of nowhere. But didn’t actually say anything.

Their poster Garycpos is Smith’s dad.

A general question was posed asking if Smith was likely to be loaned out again and suggesting that a move here would suit us, up a league for him.

Garycpos quoted the post above but with no text from him. I suppose he has to be careful posting stuff that could concern his son so I just surmised that his quote only post was hinting that a move was a possibility.
