Never sure about advice from ManU fans, but that does sound promising.

Only polite, don't want to steal Chelsea's thunder on the Chilwell signing

If Kovar has not signed by Monday (I’m guessing we have a Meaningful friendly game on Saturday) and the currant bun journo has suggested that he was in the building yesterday, why has he not been unveiled as the new No.1 stopper. What could possibly be the hold up. It remains to be seen at the point in time of my comment whether he actually does sign and if not at all what a massive red herring he could turn out to be if he doesn’t. My thinking is two weeks Saturday is the seasons opener and a week Saturday the first round of the League Cup. Time is running out to have a first choice stopper in place.

So many potential reasons why we’ve not heard yet. We may want to announce two at a time, or there’s still a chance someone other than Kovar may come in. Wellens also alluded to a lack of proactivity (unless I misinterpreted?) in his interview. Does anyone know if we ever replaced our club sec that left for Sunderland? If we didn’t, it could be something as basic as there not being anyone who really knows what they are doing with FL paperwork, which at this time of year, I can imagine would do his head in! I for one am looking forward to the quadruple announcement on Friday of George Cooper, Norwood, Kovar and Woolery.

We replaced the Secretary with a chap from Chesterfield. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.derbyshiretimes.co.uk/sport/football/it-heavy-heart-i-leave-club-chesterfield-confirm-departure-staff-member-2882844%3famp

Do we still have two separate games lined up for Saturday Brentford & Bristol City and if so which one takes preference?

Teams are being split I believe to get 90 minutes into every player.
