Remind me again what Doyle and likely Keshi were earning? Did you just decide to skip the part that focused on a PAYP contract? Thought so. If you think 」3k-」4k per week is a very high salary for L1 (PAYP or 1yr contract) then I'd get your sixpences out and I have two words for you "Will" "Grigg". Please enlighten me with the pure Chang wisdom (who never makes any mistakes, no, no no) how the fuck would you expect us to compete in the Championship, if we were to succeed in a back to back promo? I bet Grant is on around 」3k. Just a reminder that even 」5k pw is about 」260k pa. Not every cunting player at Town is going to be the "highest paid" are they you absolute cum racket. Players like Twine, Ian, Broadbent, I doubt are on much more than 」1k pw (if that for Stringy). Some on here have suggested the likes of Chris Martin, do they realise how much he was on at Derby? About 」11k pw. So maybe we should sign fucking Martyn Waghorn instead, as he was only on 」8k pw?! Yet they come under no fucking mockery do they?! If you're gonna be a cunt and pick holes at least be consistent and do so when others make supposed "absolutely farcical" suggestions. But don't let any of that get in the way of your selective and targeted argument ey Chang? Back in the hatch for you Fucking hell Bamboo, you really need to stop taking things so personally and attacking people when they question/disagree with you.

I call it as I see it Bamboo...no need to take it so personally. Any excuse for a long rambling post What exactly is it you were seeing though? I opened stating the possibility of a PAYP contract and then referred to even if we were to sign him on a year contract, it wouldn't beyond the reaches off viability. Yet you chose to ignore the opening statement so you really didn't call it as you saw it. I'm sure you're intelligent enough to know where misquoting can lead? In any case, how would you feel if we were to sign Ireland on any form of contract (whether PAYP or 1yr deal)? Would think it was farcical? I personally think at this level, his experience and presence in the changing room would be as invaluable as any minutes on the pitch. Let's just hope if he does sign, he doesn't randomly ask for any compassionate leave. Boy who cried wolf and all that! Beer O'clock I think?

I honestly think you should take your own (good) advice and consider speaking with somebody. There is no need to react to every perceived slight. Especially when it is a known troll (although I don't even think Chang was trolling this time) You might bite on this comment as well, but it is delivered with good intentions.

I don't mind someone disagreeing with me. I'm actually pretty open when it comes to any form of debate but it seemingly appears that I'm the only person here who speaks bollocks and some do appear to go out of their way to target certain posters. It's fucking sad mate. If ever there was an example of confirmation bias in action, you can see it right there in Chang's comment a couple replies back. But anyway, STFC Transfers Rumors

Taking whatever he壇 be earning out of the equation, then it would be a very intriguing signing. I trust Wellens more than I have any other manager in recent years so I知 confident he壇 only be joining if he has something to offer still. Should be low risk regardless given contract terms (both length and salary) will surely be favourable. He certainly has had a colourful personal life...literally, in the case of his Range Rover. Enjoy

No biteys from me on this. I just don't see what is wrong with suggesting (as others have) about signing Ireland, more so when it appears he is on trial with Town. Especially when others have opened conversation on far more wild suggestions (Chris Martin, Huddlestone). We do also have to bear in mind this is not only the TEF but also the STFC Transfer Rumours section too. However, thanks "The suggested salary, PAYP or otherwise. Taking whatever he壇 be earning out of the equation, then it would be a very intriguing signing. I trust Wellens more than I have any other manager in recent years so I知 confident he壇 only be joining if he has something to offer still..." Enjoy These are pretty much along my own lines of thought. If Wellens knows he can get him upto a level of fitness that he is happy with then I'm certain most of us as fans would be very happy with an experienced head (albeit a match rusty one). We'll see ey? And of course, I'll enjoy the pint. Did they ever find out whether Hurley really did win the Lottery or was that just a figment of imagination too? Maybe Ben forgot to put his ticket on whilst getting himself 20 B&H?

Yeah, it's a really cringeworthy 'in joke' that's not at all funny. At least you know about it. Welcome 👍

It is indeed a joke that ran its course some time ago, but if Geoff is indeed a ref, he'll have heard a lot worse I'm sure. (On a related note, I read an article about a female Muslim football referee earlier - rather lovely but my word she must have a tough time)
