People seem very keen on him, possibly influenced by his hair colour. Seems like most of L1 would be interested in him on loan.

A lot of people bought those wigs and were infuriated by Northampton fans using the chant...!

4 clubs have made an offer for Morton on loan, Fleetwood, Lincoln and Northampton being 3 of them, according to someone on twitter.

Yates would have doubled that tally.
If he hadn't signed with Blackpool

He's never played above League Two, how is he out of our league?

The lad did well in 9 games for a team that got promoted from the bottom league. Before that his only experience is in non-league (where he scored 1 in 3). He is untested in L1.
I expect he will be in demand and I would not be surprised if teams higher up are looking at him, but I think some are exaggerating things a bit. If he's to go out on loan again then it's not beyond the realms of imagination to see why WBA might choose Wellens/Swindon, especially considering GP's exploits last season.
If you were to ask me who'd be more realistic between Morton and DJ, I'd say Morton.

Ex Agent James Goodwin @ex_goodwin Just been out with a current scout for a bevy and he reckons Callum Morton signs for a L1 club before the weekend 11:52 PM · Aug 12, 2020

I kinda see. You reckoned it was more unlikely we’d sign DJ - which we did - than it is Morton signing for us.

He's never played above League Two, how is he out of our league? Because I'd be amazed if there wasn't a big queue of l1 clubs in for him come crunch time. we'll see

Last time I looked, we were a L1 club. Can’t see any reason we wouldn’t be one of the ‘likely’ clubs.
Any loan fee may scupper it, mind.

Not a rumour, but Harry Souttar available on loan from Stoke. CB who did very well at Fleetwood last year.
