Its worth pointing out that all 5 of isgroves assists came within his first 7 games! The following 9 games he struggled for form and minutes and then his injury.
Izzy did have a large part to play in the 2nd goal on Saturday, but that was pretty much his only real involvement in the game.

Isgrove was my player of the season up until October, but his form dropped following his injury and he's been a shadow of his former self (although Saturday was his best game for a long while!)

it was his best game in a long while but IMO not at the same level of Woolery's performance.

I thought Isgrove was excellent against Plymouth.

On actual rumours - a Twitter account that correctly mentioned Yates getting recalled and Hope signing before they happened says Doyle is signing tomorrow. 18 months.

TBF I missed most of that game, could only watch the first 30 mins on my mobile.

Consistancy has always been an issue for him throughout his career.

But then again what wingers aren't inconsistant!

Isgrove;
Starting eleven: 20, Substituted in: 3, Goals: 0 Assists: 5

Woolery;
Starting eleven: 18, Substituted in: 10, Goals: 2 Assists: 7

I don’t think those stats actually do Woolery justice, the numbers of goals he has been involved in would be around half our goals. There was some stat the other day that he was in the top 10 in the league for key passes made at something like 23 so that is probably a better reflection.

I have been guilty of it and so have most of our fans but I think Woolery's input in games is massively underrated by most of us, Wellens included. He frustrates as much as he delights.

Last season he was poor but hes getting better all the time.

That doesn't mean he doesn't need to improve even more though.

I hope we keep him.
