I would say that L1 will win over L2 interest.

My mate coaches at the academy Semenyo came through before City snapped him up. He was tipped for big, big things. Only thing working in our favour is our location really. Well, that and the fact he could get a promotion on his CV.

Definately this. I have heard from City fans that he still has family in Swindon, whether or not thats true I don't know, also less of a commute for a young player who can still live in his home rather than be in a bed sit. That said, is he any better than DJ? also he would take another loan spot, with May going back that would be fine if we bought Grant on a perm or Doyle for that matter. As Rich states surely L1>L2 also. I would suggest that if we got another loan in then it could well be a centre back with the amount of injuries we have got in the position in the short/mid term timeframe. Maybe resurrect the Ballard loan if hes back to fitness?

Bit of a rumour about him and, yet again, Bennett.

I think Bennett is a realistic target if we lose Yates or Doyle.

Rollin Menayese has played 9 games this season for Rovers and they are short of bodies in defence, I can't see him being a goer.
Also his passing is far worse than Zakuanis so hes not the sort of player that Wellens would normally go for. Against us in the Mickey Mouse cup his passing and general play was shocking.

Any idea if this is a permanent? If he’s on a season long loan, surely the terms of the contract cant change halfway through?

Only if the loan is being turned into a permanent deal.

Unless that was part of the initial loan deal along with the recall clause. The wording of Nixon’s tweet indicates, to me, an improvement in the loan deal, not a perm.
