Williams has until this season been playing regularly in Scotland.
Cheers PV, had a quick search of him and apparently he's on loan at Indy Eleven in the states until October...his contract with Inverness CT expires next May. Didn't you watch them play back end of last season? He could well have been on the bench!

No mate I saw St Johnstone v Partick and TBH the quality in the Scottish Premier is lower than L2 from what I have seen, not 1 St Johnstone or Partick players would get into this seasons Town side.

I'd just register Mildenhall and put him on the bench to be honest if we end up short. Odds on sub keeper being used are slim and I'm sure he could do a job if required.

Very true, kind of bypassed that option. It is a likely scenario if Vigs gets a recall and Henry is sent back to Hamenchips.

So we might, or might not, have some new signings today. Or tomorrow, or next week, or...
This feels like the longest transfer window ever.

If we hang on til March.... Adam Johnson should be available. The type to be of interest to Power and Brown.

Not relevant as not what Johnson was found guilty of. Power and Brown do have Ranger and McCormick on their CV.

PB actively seeking new free agent signings. http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/16688915.swindon-town-aim-to-boost-squad-with-free-agents/Wierd quote from PB. Brown said: "The pretty boys in the playground won’t be available to us until Wednesday when that transfer window opens again.
“I’ve had words with the chairman with regards to three of them – that’s not to say I’m trying to squeeze any more money.
“I’m saying there are three or four players that could possibly come in on Wednesday and add to the squad.
“As far as I’m concerned, if we can get Chris and Dion out of the treatment room, and the mentality of the back four adjusted to dealing with set-pieces, I think we have enough.”

In rugby parlance the "pretty boys" are the halves, centres and wingers, who don't get involved so much in the "grunt" therefore avoid cauliflower ears etc. Perhaps PB sees it a bit like when you picked up sides in the playgrouind, we're now on the last picks, which tended to be the less rugged kids. He is a Sand-dancer.... I'd imagine Souith Shields schools were 10 years behind, some parts of the country.
