Come out of a meeting to see the Germans are out and Norris has been sold. Its a great day!!
One of the worst forwards i've seen in 25 years. Zero loss.
The FB group going into meltdown! selling our best player and top scorer to our division rivals, barely 2 months ago Norris was the worst player in our history blah blah blah. Some fans of ours like to be deliberately inimical and utterly contrary especially towards the current owner despite whatever he does, good or bad.

I wish him all the best, he was useless. I didn't see him play in his first season, and if he was worse than this season, that is a great effort. On his plus side he tried and could take a good penalty.
We did play worse without him, oddly, but I think it was clear at the end of the season that we were changing how we play, so that should be irrelevant.

He was alright. A trier.
Excited to see a) the continued meltdown of our fans on some social platforms - the same mugs who have given Norris pelters for 2 years are now predicting the apocalypse and b) who we bring in.
No judgement on the squad until a few days before Macc.

I have a feeling (nothing to substantiate it) that Brown could end up pleasantly surprising us all with who he gets in. With all these departures he is going to have to pull a few rabbits out the hat to keep the fans on side. Then again, Germany are out of the World Cup....

Luke was a trier which is the minimum requirement, but it's something of an oddity that down the years we've seen some very decent goalscorers centre forwards, and he was never going to get into that company. Which of course doesn't mean we'll replace him with something better, just that we might.

I was at Loftus Road for Luke's debut (that may be wrong) in the league cup. He must have had about 15 relatively clear cut chances that evening and fluffed his lines every time.
I was at Stevenage this season for our demise in the FA Cup and was sat right behind the goal, we had a great chance where the ball was flighted in and all Norris had to do 8 yards out was plant a header past the keeper and into the back of the net. He ended up putting it wide.
Not a very good finisher at all but always seemed to work hard. I hope we can find a better replacement, if Brown gets someone worse then he'll be doing well.

What a great day. Germany out the WC, Flint transfer completes freeing up some funds for investment in the squad and Norris is sold.
Although Luke was a trier he is an average L2 striker at best and Richards offers more goal threat.
Hopefully news of 2 signings within the week plus obligatory 5 loans will give us a half decent squad going in to the new season.

Norris was a bit like a battery. A lot of input, but very little output bar penalties.

Bit of an enigma was Norris, crap finisher but now that's two players guaranteed to score against us when we meet their new employers next season.

Norris is easy to defend against, just give him a 1 on 1 and put a ball boy near the Stratton Bank clock.
it's when he doesn't think he's dangerous.

I was wondering if this might mean we would be signing Morgan Ferrier from Boreham Wood but apparently he's gone to Dag & Red
