Ajose & Ince both started for Bury in the FLT yesterday.

My newspaper gives the attendance as ....... 698.   Smiley

Their fans really don't like Ajose and Ince at all:

I can understand why they aren’t happy with Ajose - if he doesn’t score he doesn’t do much.

But Ince I can’t fathom. Looked miles better than L1 standard in our shite team last season. What could have gone on there?

As ever, things are relative. Ince came into the worst STFC side of recent years,  where by running around a bit and looking vaguely enthusiastic, you'd make some sort of improvement, which is what Ince did.

I'd say he looked good enough for Div 3.  If you can establish yourself at that level over a period of time, then it's possible you may be able to do a higher level... but many cannot.   Someone like Simon Ferry would be a classic example.

Jordan Turnbull, anyone.

Being recalled by Coventry with a view to offloading him on a permanent in the next couple of days.

Partick fans loved him, said hes one of their best players this season.

On large wages and probably not experienced enough for Flitcroft, handy squad player though.

I'd take him back. Decent enough player and covers 2 positions

Yep be happy with him at CB alongside Preston or as a CDM.

He is still young enough and knows the area and club, Partick fans think hes off to Ross County.

Yep, wouldn't mind him coming back.
Might improve as a defender under Flitcroft i.e. encourage a more "no nonsense" approach.
Not sure if Preston has always had about a 10% pass completion rate or if it's just something that has got worse since he's been here.

A case of defend first and don't worry too much about where the ball goes I guess.

Can't imagine anyone in the bottom half of the SPL getting him permanently unless Cov are paying up his contract. Would be happy to see him back here alongside Preston and Ollie in the 3 and we know it's a position we're desperate for cover in.

However desirable, I'm not convinced that Flitters would want any of our old boys back.  Still 3 weeks of Jan to go, and given our safe position in Div 4, it would be surprising to see anything happen before deadline day.
