Absolutely.  A centre back partnership of Conroy and Turnbull, for instance, would not be good.  Remember when Swindon had Cuthbert and Lescinel/Morrison at centre back in the season after Greer left - disaster.  Conroy will need someone who is good in the air and strong positionally alongside him.  Doesn't matter whether this player is good on the ball.

To my own surprise, I feel Branco could be quite decent for League Two.  Have never questioned his commitment or workrate and he does put himself about.  Turnbull (as in Turnbull and Stephens) was quite classy but somehow became a little slow and prone to losing his footing rather easily when questions were asked of him.

Agree with you here. I have a feeling Branco and Conroy may be alright in Div 4.

Branco in a back 4 could play Div 3 - Branco in a back 3/5 couldn't play non league - too easily dragged out of position trying to cover the inept non existent midfielders / wing backs in front of him. If you put him alongside a Jamie Vincent clone he'd blossom - but we don't do that here so its sink or swim. He certainly finished the season off well alongside Conroy.

I'd take branco and Conroy over Conroy and Turnbull all day long

So what would be the reaction if Kasim was offered a new deal ?

Always thought Kasim would make a great sweeper behind a back four instead of playing in front of it in a holding role.

What a waste of money.

I'd rather they sign someone that turns up and puts some effort in.

which kasim.

the one for the last season and a half = pointless.  the on form motivated one = quality.

would not offer him a contract because the risk is too high that it would be wasted.

Made this up, but Jordan Macguire-Drew from Brighton on loan for the season. 16 goals whilst on loan at Dagenham. Winger.

I love how you say that as if to suggest your others aren't.

Keiran Thomas from Gloucester City, a 21 year old RB been attracting a lot of attention from league clubs such as Derby County.

Nicknamed Pitbull and Gloucester player of the year.

Could well be a target if and when NT leaves.
