One of the reasons I'm struggling to get behind the team is that we don't have one - just borrowed players who will be gone at the end of the season.
exactly, thats the reason there is no passion or fight

Glad Murray has gone - unfit and shit. Its a shame we cant ship out most of the others. Good to see Ajose in if we can get crosses into him, otherwise he'll be a spectator. Ince is a spin of the dice and that hasn't really gone well recently. 7 loans is a fucking joke. If we were to try and convert to perm then Feruz can go fuck himself - Ben Hutchinson reincarnated. Wouldn't sign Colkett - not really needed. Jones has got better but is still pretty shit. Give the new lad a chance as he's ours.  I'd sign up Gladwin and Dabo. Gladwin, although shit Saturday is quality at this level. Dabo looks decent.
Unfortunately the team is still fucking dross with shit fitness, discipline, tactics and bottle. That won't get sorted by loan signings. Nothing much has changed. Ajose is not a leader. Don't think Ince is either.
I'm also old fashioned re loan signings, prefer our own players but as they have been total shit I suppose nothing to lose.
Can't see any of them giving a shit about the Scum on Sunday. Would like to see Smith in the midfield - Swindon lad, might just give a shit.

One of the reasons I'm struggling to get behind the team is that we don't have one - just borrowed players who will be gone at the end of the season.

To be fair, that clearly wasn't the plan at the start of the season as we signed the likes of Goddard, Vigouroux, Thomas, Norris, Delfouneso, Murray, etc, all on permanent deals with just a couple of loans (Doughty, Jones and Furlong).

However, "The model" clearly hasn't worked as hoped this season and with so many players getting injured (again).

We've had to adapt our philosophy and bring in these loanees.

If they pull their weight, get stuck in and help us stay up then i'll take that and build for next season.

Let's see what happens I guess.

Just typed the same in the FB group, it didn't work bringing in all our own players so filling the gaps with loans until the summer

Let's hope that's how Power sees it. Friday's phone in will be interesting, as long as people are allowed ask the right questions.

Completely agree. One or two is fine. More and it's not our team - it's someone else's reserves, who have no long term interest at the club.

So, what if we couldn't get perms? Everyone knows its over the odds time in jan. Maybe loans is all we could do. In other words quit whining, we've made a couple of experienced loan deals to help us out of the shit. Or would everyone rather nobody in today?

Exactly, it would be hard to convince Ajose and Ince to sign permanently while we are where we are, so loans are probably the best bet to get them in then when we stay up we can sign them permanently

Agree. Rather sign a better calibre of player on loan and stay up rather than panic buy whoever just happens to be available and willing to commit themselves to a club at the arse end of League 1.

I'd rather we'd signed nobody.

Now I have less to moan about. I'll have to bring this up with Power on Friday.

With the likely exception of Feruz, we've made some good signings this window so far (it's not closed yet).

I'm still hoping for a shaven-headed psycho, but failing that Ince might do a job in that role. Fingers crossed.

I'm not sure Ince would be much cop as a hairdresser.

Appreciate that - they're both good (surprisingly good) signings and can hopefully
keep us up. Just a lesson to Power to get it right in the summer next time.
