More excited about Ince than Ajose which is no dig at Nicky, just think Ince will make us so much more balanced  and competitive.

Exactly how I feel, Ajose will only be a good signing if we can provide him with the service to score the goals. But Ince would be the player to do the dirty work to set Gladwin, Colkett and Goddard free.

 Yes

Glad I got a ticket for Sunday now after begrudgingly handing over 20 quid yesterday.

Ince would be an excellent signing. I saw him play for Fulham last season and he is very combative and exactly what we've been lacking for years

As ever need to see a scarf shot and even then be sceptical. Who remembers Ian Marshall in 95?  McMahon had set up 2 deals with some of the Fjortoft money....Lord Lucan and Marshall. Marshall was all set to sign but it went west at the last minute, as he had a problem with a property he was trying to flog in Ipswich. He scored a fair few goals for several clubs after that at a high level. Would probably have kept us up, however we'd have missed the 95/96 season, so it's swings and roundabouts.

Agreed and if it helps Colkett build an understanding with Ajose with Beaks a troublesome decoy then who knows.

One or two ifs but more positive than yesterday, for sure.

Reading away for Ince next month sounds a tough one...

Assuming a fully fit squad I'd imagine Goddard being the one to lose out to Ince.

Be back to 352.

Vigs
Thompson Jones Branco
Brophy Gladwin Colkett Ince Dabo
Ajose Obika

Hope not, I'd much rather see the below:

Vigs (GK)
Thompson (RB)
Jones (CB)
Branco (CB)
Dabo (LB)
Ince (DM)
Goddard (Mid)
Colkett (Mid)
Gladwin (AM)
Ajose (FWD)
Obika (FWD)

That's what I assumed but Williams/Power/Sherwood/Whoever has actually been making all the decisions do seem unnaturally wedded to 3 at the back

See the Adver are maintaining their usual high standards of not being terribly good at English:
"Chesterfield, who have already made two loan signings today and are expected to make a third, may have a fight on their hands to keep hold of highly sort after winger Gboly Ariyibi"
