The £300,000 will be spent on Nicky Ajose and suddenly it won't be mildly amusing.
Don't!

I posted on another thread that a good Ajose needs a fit and firing Obika (or similar) to get the best out of him.

Ajose could be successful working off Norris.
Norris has ability but, at the moment this ability stops just before putting the ball in the net.

Think Norris can do that job. He can do the hold up (see Bolton game) just doesn't have the goalscoring touch in him!

if obika ever gets fit/isn't flogged today we have a proven goalscoring pair. can't be disappointed with that..
in the meantime we hope Norris steps up in that department now too

Agree with that. Decent enough rabbits, let's hope it's enough to make a difference

I agree, I've said for a while he looks like a decent footballer until he gets to the box, he then looks like a sunday league player at best.

You would guess that is a permanent deal with us writing of what Charlton still owe with maybe a sell on clause inserted

The 'Ince' role is supposed to be what Kassim is here to do - wonder if he is on his way out on loan somewhere

Ince, on paper, is a belting signing. A serious upgrade on Thomas. Could well be with a view to a permanent deal in the summer, and signal the end of Kasim, another of our big earners who simply doesnt play enough.

More excited about Ince than Ajose which is no dig at Nicky, just think Ince will make us so much more balanced and competitive.
