I hear we have been watching the highly rated Omar Bogle at Grimsby, but then so have several other clubs like Forest and Leeds and a million pound price tag will put us off.

From wiki:
"When asked about Bogle earlier in the week Kevin had this to say 'Omar has everything that you would want in forward or a sexual partner for that matter, he's big, strong, fast and hung like a donkey, it's no bloody wonder he keeps scoring, he's basically got 3 legs!!!'"

Ha, that's almost as ridiculous as the time we tried to sign Clayton Donaldson.

Forget how much the piss stains got for Roofe - £2.5m? - and he hasn't scored at all for Leeds yet. Their very own Luke Norris.

Its been debated a lot on here in the past but some players just "fit" at clubs, a bit like SSP and Ajose here, Roofe at the Pox, Owen at Liverpool the list goes on and on. Some players just seem to do well at one club despite large transfer fees. Bogle could be one of those, thats the price and risk you pay. He has had a few good seasons though at Solihull and Grimsby but it is a big step up to the Championship in quality, it takes a good player to jump 2 divisions and still perform to a good level.

You jinxed that one, as Roofe opened his account with a brave header on Saturday. We can only hope you've also jinxed it for Norris too.
