Swindon have enquired about Carl Winchester. The potential is there but the attitude and effort isn't. He didn't even make our squad on Saturday.
I think a change of scenery could do him good, there was times in the Lee Johnson era he was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch. I reckon this one could come back to bite us on the arse.

Oldham Athletic midfielder Carl Winchester has signed a new deal
Oldham midfielder Carl Winchester has signed a new deal to stay at the club for the 2016/17 season.
The 23-year-old, the club's longest-serving player, has agreed an undisclosed contract with the Latics.
"Oldham Athletic have agreed terms with Carl Winchester to remain with the club next season," the Latics said on their official website.
The Northern Irishman, who won the club's player of the season award in 2015, made 34 appearances last term, scoring one goal.
Winchester joined Oldham aged 16 and has made a total of 125 appearances for the Sky Bet League One club.

Even if Kasim does go Thomas was bought to fill in as defensive midfielder and with Young and Smith coming through the ranks I don't think Power will buy any more midfielders this window. |
