Would Doughty on a season long loan be a good signing? don't suppose you've got any strikers up your sleeve?

I read that L. Thompson could be in Norwich's 1st team plans this season.
Touted for a season loan, on their forum, to Charlton again a few days ago.

We haven't been linked to Ben Gladwin yet. I'm getting concerned.......
Or Steve Lomas? Power is getting worryingly like I am on Football Manager keep getting the same loan players year after year.......

Quite clever really though as Byrne, Luongo, Ajose and Vigs were all loans that were made perm and made them relatively low signings as we knew all about them before spunking any money. If we can get them on loan for a year with a chance of eventually signing them it works pretty well....

That's a brilliant article. I often find it hard to watch the off the ball movements at a live match, just get drawn into the action around the ball. The videos really help to bring some of the finer points to life, excellent work!

Don't be surprised to see Turnbull sign permanently by Saturday...
I won't get too excited just yet if your "tips" are anything to go by

I won't get too excited just yet if your "tips" are anything to go by Which is exactly what someone said this time last year, the day before Turnbull signed. Just been told we have asked Southampton if we can take Turnbull on loan till January, will be a call back clause if it does happen due to their lack of options at the back though.
If it's the same guy you get your tips from I don't believe a word of it!

Thought the new loan rules ruled out any call backs

This was always so predictable. Regardless of whether these particular signings happen - we all knew that, at some point, there would be signings. The collective nervous breakdown happening on Twitter & Facebook etc. is, frankly, embarrassing.

We are by no means alone having fans like that, Coventry are also in the same situation of having only a couple of signings so far and their fans getting on the back of the owners SISU wanting to know why they can't even put out a full team against us....yet.

In their defence the Coventry owners clearly are a bunch of dodgy pricks though what with the Northampton debacle and the 'new stadium'. They've got form....
