Good news. It appears Kasim has left the Iraqi squad to sort his future out. They did say that last time to be fair though.

Will Henry as number 2 then (and hopefully all JPT games too). Very much agree with this decision.

He'll get plenty of practice there anyway!

@Official_STFC have taken Millwall midfielder @JackPowell4, defender Ronald Huth, Coventry midfielder @CThomas02 & @C_Nanetti on trial

BBC Wilts

Conor Thomas an interesting one. Only 22, 100+ apps for Cov and went to Liverpool for a short period. Injury last year, but back fit. Could be a very good signing indeed on the surface of it - would imagine a direct replacement for Kasim.

Powell - same age, same position but nowhere near the pedigree. The other two much more traditional random trialists. Fully expect Nanetti to score an overhead kick in a friendly - is a one-time internet sensation after beating Raheem "The Dream" Sterling in Soccer AM's Skillz School years ago.

Is Huth related to the winner of the Prem with 2 different clubs?

I love the idea of getting in trialists who sound a bit like good players in the same way as Andy King's looky-likey policy of a few years back. I look forward to watching Christopher Ronaldo line up against Supermarine, alongside Leonard Messi

I've heard Christiano Rolando and Lenny Messy are lining up.

My mate who has a season ticket at Liverpool said they had high hopes of him progressing into the first team and got an injury and that slowed his progress.

I like trialists!
