At least we're moving early on targets. If we can get the majority of our deals done by the first game of the season I think a settled squad will set us up for a much better campaign.

Don't think we'll get him - but if we did, that midfield's looking a bit good.

Get a ball-winning spoiler and we're in business.

Probably right but power wont be frightened by that price, he knows if he's that good, he'll double next season.

Guessing here, but I'd imagine the Storey/Smith fees have covered the Goddard fee.

Flog off Kasim and buy Moncur and there would still be change to buy Kemar Roofe!

Have we actually sold either of the players you mention yet?

Just presuming Power knows what's  happening regarding their futures and likely fees involved and maybe spending in advance in new players.

Mind you, he'd be bolloxed if they actually stayed!

Roofe will go to a team in a higher division rather than another team in the same one, lots of Championship sides after him plus a couple of Prem sides.

Rather spend money on better players rather than Pox rejects, not that the will deal with us anyway after the Cuntstubble debacle.

Roofe has been playing as a striker anyway I think.

Good player, they wouldn't have gone up without him.

I suspect deals will be done with a nominal 'undisclosed' fee agree would image Storey will stay in scotland where his reputation is on the up, and Smith will probably end up at pompey but you would image Power will put 25% + sell on clauses if they go on the cheap, cant see either of them raising anything over £50k each

Scottish paper reporting that Aberdeen will make a move for Miles Storey:

https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/920423/aberdeen-to-make-move-to-sign-miles-storey/

Two clubs wanting him is better than one. Might be able to turn that 25k nominal fee into 75k!! Which would cover us for another two pensions regulator scandals in real terms...

If Storey does indeed to move to Scotland we would be due £0 compensation.
Better off he moves to England so we can get a small fee.

Thought Power triggered the extra year option so we would get a fee

Surprised at that. Don't think he would start there as they had a fairly good season?
