It's all in the name. James Brophy sounds like a decent player - maybe cos it rhymes with Trophy!
We had a youngster years ago called Tobin - I had a similar scenario set out for him.
Alas, he never made it. Not even close.
Steve Tobin was 24 when he nearly signed for us while on trial for 3 games under Macari, scored 4 goals in one reserve game but chose to stay at Shepshed because they paid more money than we did along with his full time job as a sparky, he could have made it....much like I feel Brophy could. |

Ajose is said to be on £5k+ pw at Lids and anyway we couldn't afford his wages when he was on loan from Peterborough so why do you think we could afford his wages now with a smaller budget?
It would depend on how desperate Leeds are to get rid of him. They may be willing to subsidise his wages like we've done in the past when a loan club wants one of our high earners. |

This. I'm sure Crewe didn't pay all of his wages, and Sharp's move to Sheff Utd was dependent on Leeds paying some of his wages. |
