I'm always fascinated by fans who have a tendency to only scout former players. Especially when you consider this darn tootin' model the club are currently adhering to.
Recently, some folk elsewhere were seriously suggesting that Peter Brezovan was the answer to our goalkeeping issues.

Ajose rumour is not insane at all if you didn't hear or see where it originated from. Would help if when people ask a question on Twitter the followers actually engage and help dispel the rumours

We'll probably see one more of this season's loanees on Sunday when the scousers come to town.
Hope it's Kent but it does look like he's going somewhere higher up the food chain.
As much as some people are bleating about lack of newcomers, surely it's more important to note that Kasim and Byrne are still here - for the time being anyway.
2 players of proven ability above L1 level

Why aren't we interested in Ajose. He is exactly the sort of player we should be after.
Young, skilful, scores goals, and has at least some connection to Swindon.
If we can't or won't afford a player like him , then I fucking give up !

I suspect one of the reasons why we've yet to see many incomers, is the possibility of losing a few before the window slams shut.

He's on the books at Leeds, and as they paid money for him I imagine his wages are at the very least, decent Championship amounts. That's not fitting in our wage structure.

It'd take a bit more than Ajose not coming to make me give up TBH. He's decent enough, but I wouldn't cream my jeans if he did return

He's a player that has had reasonable playing time at Bury, Peterborough, Crawley and Swindon, and has not cut the mustard at ManU or Leeds. Not exactly a world beater. We have just sold two players for a significant amount of money. If Power wants half of last seasons crowd to turn up after the Wembley shit then he has to invest in someone to excite the crowd. If someone like Ajose is beyond our means, than I cannot see how he will do it. And week after week of no transfer news and no other news out of the club is really beginning to hack me off.

I can't even.... Surely people must be able to understand the basic model which we're using by now? Surely? And if people are genuinely not turning up because we're choosing not to buy championship rejects like Nicky Ajose on inflated wages then that's their prerogative, but jeses wept....

That Flint post proves that there aren't many or any FaceBook group users on here... Some of the responses.

Maybe I expect more from the club I've supported for decades than a bunch of non-league trialists. I've never felt so low about this club (apart from the Diamondis years, obviously) than I do at the moment, and you preaching to me is not going to change that.
