Allegedly. To some bloke's mate in the pub. According to a bloke on an internet forum. Even the Adver source their stories better than that.

And even if Cooper did say it, he kept on saying the same thing last season anyway.

Yep.

And even if Power splashed out £500,000 on one player (eg Goldson), there'd still be moaners saying it would have been better spent on a new keeper, striker, softer bog roll in the Arkells, prossies for season ticket holders...

I'm up for a brass, or at least a 10% discount.

If we don't have 5 season long loans agreed by the end of August i'll be amazed. That is the model after all!

So we have 2 at the moment. Will the Liverpool GK be another? He didn't impress me the other day but wait and see i guess.

I've heard a whisper that a couple of last seasons loanees could return. Likely suspects being Swift and Turnbull.

Can't see us getting Swift. Was used sparingly towards the end and it's at the back we need the cover. I think Turnball is more likely

Now I'm all for companies sourcing locally, but I think using Manchester Road would be an OG.

Turnbull would be a great signing, we need another centre back desperately, and if we are playing 4 rather than 3, and Nathan is at RB, it would be useful to have some one with experience of this division under his belt.

Not sure reference Turnbull.

Had some really solid games, but in the Wembley final he was shocking.
